Should Soare Be Allowed In Wordle?

If you use First Word to figure out how good your first word guess is, you'll come to discover that SOARE is a top guess. Not surprising. It starts with an "S" (the most common first letter), has three vowels and contains another common letter, "R".

But, should SOARE even be allowed in Wordle? Because it's not in the Mirriam-Webster dictionary, at all. You can find an entry in the Collins Dictionary, which states that it was a word in British English that meant "young hawk". But, it's now listed as "obsolete".

I allow it in WordPlay, because it's allowed in Wordle, but I'm not happy about it. And yes, I'm precisely the type of person that is irritated by some of the "not actual words" that are in the Official Scrabble Dictionary too.
