Petty Harbour Cottage

Petty Harbour is the most delightful fishing village that we have discovered so far in Newfoundland. It is located only 10 miles outside of St. Johns, the major Nfld city of 150,000, so dinners out, theatres, and even Starbucks are not far away.

Our guest cottage has a fantastic view overlooking the town of Petty Harbour AND the Atlantic Ocean. It is right on the East Coast Trail, so during the summer months gorgeous hiking is right at your doorstep. In May and June icebergs tend to float by and late summer blueberry picking is a special treat.

[Petty Harbour Photo] Our cottage is simple, but is all newly appointed, painted and furnished.. There are 2 bedrooms, one with bunk-beds and one with twin beds. The living room has a double sofa bed, so 6 people have a place to lay their heads. There is one bathroom, a living room and kitchen, and, best of all, a great deck for taking in that view. The good news, and the bad news, is that there is no cell phone service in the area.

The rent is $500.00 per week, $100.00 per day with a 3 day minimum, or even monthly: rate to be discussed.
